I charge all copywriting projects on a case-by-case basis, because each one is different. Here’s a quick introduction to how I charge projects so that you know roughly what to expect.
Guideline copywriting rates
All my prices are based on my hourly rate of £75, and the price I quote you will be based on how long I anticipate the job taking, with a minimum charge of one hour’s work. To give you a rough idea, a 500-word blog post on a reasonably straightforward topic should take around an hour or two to complete.
My prices include one round of light revisions. I tend to have a packed copywriting schedule, so if you need me to drop everything else and turn work around at very short notice, please be aware that I may charge more than my usual rates.
I also offer package prices if you’re looking for a regular copywriter to produce weekly blog posts and other content. Packages essentially give you a discount for buying ‘in bulk’, so you will need to commit to a minimum number of posts/pages and a minimum of six months (payable monthly on the last working day of each month) to take advantage of these deals. Send me an email if you’d like to know more.
For a small extra fee, I can also offer SEO meta data (an optimised title tag and meta description) for each page I write for you. Not only that, but if you’re going to be promoting the page on social media, I can write Facebook and Twitter posts for you to use.
