How is it Christmas already? Another year of freelance copywriting has absolutely flown by, and I’ve been so busy since launching this site that I’ve not even found time to turn my various draft posts into published posts. My business resolution for 2016 is therefore to blog more!
Here are some of my copywriting highlights from this year:
- Writing about important issues for The United Nations World Food Programme
- Writing a series of posts for Skyscanner about some of my favourite destinations
- Launching this new website
- Receiving some lovely testimonials from happy clients
- Writing a cosy post about the Danish concept of ‘hygge’ for navabi
There are lots more, but for confidentiality reasons I can’t even tell you about the most exciting ones! Suffice it to say that my client list has grown a lot this year, and I’ve had the privilege of working with some major household names.
On a personal note, my highlight of the year was of course getting married! Hopefully my Twitter followers, LinkedIn connections and clients are getting used to my new name. It’s strange not being Rachel McCombie anymore, but I’m slowly getting used to being Rachel Ingram.
It’s now time to recharge my creative batteries, so I’m taking a couple of much-needed weeks off over Christmas to read, walk, bake and do all the other things I never normally have time to do. I’ll be back at work from 8 January, but I’m currently taking on new clients and work for 2016, so if you’d like me to write anything for you, do get in touch.
In the meantime, have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy and successful New Year!
